Got my new GOATSE License Plate Today

I buy a lot of old cars for fun. Back in California it was always cooler to keep the original black plates or blue plates that came with the car. But since I moved to Wichita, I thought now might be a good time to splurge on getting something personalized. I wanted something hip and open source due to my ten years in the IT field fixing computers at EarthLink and Caltech. But what to use? I must of thought about dozens of *NIX type play-on-words but nothing hit it for me until...
GOATSE
So here it is. My very original and unrestored 1964 Chrysler New Yorker.
It is powered by a 413 RB Wedge Mopar mated to the original push-button dash 727 transmission
It gets 8/10 mpg running premium fuel.
Options include one "GOATSE" license plate.

2004 Dodge Sprinter 2500 RV

2004 Dodge Sprinter 2500 RV Vista Cruiser MB Edition. The MB standing for the Mercedes Benz diesel motor and transmission. It has the usual inside, bed, stove, shower, toilet, flat screen tv, leather chairs...$45,000 (it was used). I think these normally book closer to $56,000. Gets about 25mpg, too!
2005 Diesel Liberty CRD sold
Well after we moved the 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD (diesel) into the showroom, someone spotted it and bought it. Luckily there is now a 2006 in stock (in silver). Contact me if you might be interested in driving it sometime.

2005 Jeep Liberty CRD 4x4 Diesel
I was walking the lot and realized we still have a new in stock 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD 4x4 Diesel. The MSRP shows $26,130 and there is an incentive from DaimlerChrysler for $3000 which makes it a pretty cool vehicle for a great price. I have not confirmed this yet but there is talk that this model will not be available in the model year 2007 and 2006s are scarce. Not sure why this one hasn't sold. When I got here last month there were three left over and two have sold.
There is a great discussion group relating to these unique vehicles at

You are welcome to email me directly anytime with any questions on it.
I am seriously thinking about buying this vehicle for myself

Welcome to my blogspot...
I plan to keep posts relating to my work as a Dodge Chrysler Jeep salesman in the Wichita, Kansas area. I work at Parks Motors of Augusta which is about 9 miles east of Wichita. It is a Five Star Dealership which is a rating and classification among Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealerships. Points are awarded for service, training, product knowledge, etc. Not all of the dealerships in the US are Five Star. You can tell if they are by looking at their signs above the dealership. If they are, there will be five Chrysler stars and the words Five Star underneath. Of all of the Five Stars in the US, we rank #2.
I have only been selling cars and trucks since last summer (2005). I burned out as an IT person doing Desktop Support. I spent the last five years of that working on Staff at the California Institute of Technology, Caltech. I still hack, but less seriously, and less often. I was always a car nut and thought it would be a blast getting into the automotive industry. I was right, it is fun!
So what did I do for the twenty years before I learned about PCs? Music. I started playing when I was 5 and ended up in more than my fair share of bands. I will try and post about those later. Selling cars and selling your band isn't really too far of a stretch. And any musicians out there, say hello.
